Smallwood has been activated from the COVID-19 list.
Smallwood, who had been on the team's practice squad, was also elevated to the active roster in advance of Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. He'll provide added Week 16 backfield depth along with Jaret Patterson and Jonathan Williams, with Antonio Gibson (toe) listed as questionable versus Dallas.
