Allison re-signed with the Lions' practice squad Thursday.
Allison has played in three games with Detroit this season but hasn't brought in either of his two targets. In his four-year stint with the Packers prior to joining the Lions, Allison recorded 1,045 receiving yards across 46 games. The 27-year-old was waived by the Lions on Tuesday after his two weeks of practice-squad eligibility was up, and given the team's generally thin depth at receiver, he's likely to be promoted to the active roster before the end of the season.
