McCain (illness) is inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
McCain was a late addition to the Giants' injury report, and he didn't travel with the team to D.C., so it's no surprise that he won't suit up Sunday. The veteran safety has appeared in seven games for New York this season, playing almost strictly on special teams and recording one total tackle.
