Giants' Daniel Jones: Likely to miss time beyond Monday

Jones' high-ankle sprain is expected to keep him sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network report.

The injury Jones suffered in the Week 13 loss to the Packers recently confined him to a walking boot and prevented him from practicing Thursday through Saturday, prompting the Giants to rule him out in advance of Monday's game in Philadelphia. Based on the latest report, Jones looks bound to miss at least another game beyond Monday, with no assurances of a return before the end of the season. Eli Manning will get the start Monday and should remain under center for the duration of Jones' absence.
