Jones (neck), who is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, will undergo additional testing Monday and is expected to remain out for multiple weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Prior reports previously described Jones as week-to-week after he suffered a strained neck in the Giants' Nov. 28 with over the Eagles, but the quarterback looked to have a legitimate shot at avoiding an absence after he practiced on a limited basis Wednesday through Friday. However, Jones wasn't able to take contact in any of those sessions, and that appears to be the main obstacle he'll have to clear in order to return to the lineup. The Giants fear that Jones is dealing with a "ligament issue and maybe more," according to Rapoport, and the 24-year-old's upcoming tests should shed more light on the extent of his injury and whether he'll have any chance at playing next week against the Chargers. Mike Glennon will start in his stead Sunday in Miami and would likely pick up any additional starts that Jones might miss.
