Jones (neck) said Wednesday that he doesn't have any long-term concerns with his injury, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Jones also said he's frustrated with being shut down for the season, though he'll avoid surgery and is expected to make a full recovery a few weeks of rest. He'll be in line for an interesting offseason with the Giants forced to make a decision this upcoming spring on whether to exercise the $21.3 million fifth-year option (for 2023) on Jones' rookie contract. Based on the quarterback's and head coach Joe Judge's recent comments, Jones' season-ending neck injury shouldn't be much of a factor in the decision.
