Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Jones (neck) won't participate in practice, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Daboll said Jones is feeling sore and is considered "day-to-day" due to a neck injury sustained in the Giants' loss to the Dolphins in Week 5. According to Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site, Daboll said that a decision on Jones' status for Sunday's game against the Bills won't be made until later in the week. Tyrod Taylor took the first-team reps at practice Wednesday and would be in line to start versus Buffalo if Jones can't.
