Holmes has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's preseason game against the Jets due to a neck injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Holmes was also getting his left shoulder checked out by trainers, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record. Holmes registered five tackles (two solo) and one pass defended before leaving Saturday's contest.
