Singletary rushed 10 times for 37 yards and caught four of five targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 28-6 loss to the Vikings.
Singletary worked as the lead back in his Giants debut, getting 14 touches while Eric Gray and Tyrone Tracy combined for just six. He's a noticeable downgrade in the backfield from Saquon Barkley, who accounted for 10 of New York's 25 offensive touchdowns last season and scored three in his Eagles debut Friday. Singletary's a near-lock for double-digit touches on a weekly basis, but getting into scoring range looks like it will be a slog for the Giants, who will face the Commanders in Week 2 after failing to get into the end zone in the season opener.
