Lawrence (hip) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Lawrence appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Monday night's matchup against the Steelers, as he upgraded from a DNP on Thursday to a limited session Friday. His participation Saturday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play through his hip injury in Week 8.
