Giants' Evan Engram: Suiting up Week 7

Engram (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Engram has been hindered by a calf injury all season, but after sitting out Weeks 1 and 2, he's suited up for each of the last four contests. His production has been less than inspiring -- 14 catches (on 21 targets) for 127 yards and no TDs -- but he should be a key part of the game plan in a skill-position group without Saquon Barkley (ankle), Kenny Golladay (knee), Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle). Engram's key competition for looks will come in the form of Darius Slayton (hamstring), Dante Pettis, John Ross (hamstring) and fellow tight end Kyle Rudolph.
