Gano (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Gano missed the past seven games with a hamstring strain but could be available to play as soon as this Sunday against the Panthers in Munich after the Giants designated him for return from injured reserve earlier Wednesday. The Giants initially turned to Greg Joseph to replace Gano, only for Joseph to land on IR last week with an abdominal injury. The Giants elevated Jude McAtamney from the practice squad to handle kicking duties in last week's loss to Washington, and he'll likely be elevated again in Week 10 in the event Gano isn't ready to play in Germany.
