Giants' Jake Fromm: Poor performance in first start

Fromm started Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Eagles and completed six of 17 passes for 25 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while also rushing three times for 12 yards and committing a fumble that was recovered by the offense. He was replaced by Mike Glennon with 7:48 remaining in the third quarter.

The second-year signal-caller's NFL starting debut thus lasted little more than a half of extremely poor play. Despite the disastrous numbers, given that Mike Glennon is a free agent this offseason and is therefore not in the team's long-term plans, it wouldn't be surprising to see Fromm back under center to at least open the Week 17 road matchup against the Bears.
