The Giants elevated Johnson to their active roster Thursday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson signed with the Giants' practice squad Wednesday after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster Tuesday, and he's already been elevated to the New York's active roster. In a corresponding move, the Giants placed center Austin Schlottmann on injured reserve.
