Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters that Schmitz (shoulder) won't practice Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
The severity of Schmitz's shoulder injury is currently unknown, but it forced him to miss Monday's practice. Once the second-year offensive lineman returns to full health, he's expected to remain the Giants' top center in 2024.
