Donnell is expected to clear concussion protocol and return to practice Wednesday, Newsday's Art Stapleton reports.

Donnell didn't practice last week and missed Sunday's loss to the Packers, allowing Will Tye to get the start at tight end. With Donnell on track for a Week 6 return against the Ravens, the Giants will likely go back to splitting work between the two tight ends -- an arrangement that makes it difficult to rely on either for production. Further complicating matters, sixth-round rookie Jerell Adams could also be in the mix for a few snaps and targets, after catching two passes for 27 yards in Sunday's loss.
