Becton (ankle/wrist) was placed on injured reserve, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Becton turned his ankle in the Giants' preseason finale while battling for a depth line position. He's not a candidate for activation off of IR and will be done for the season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
