Anderson signed a new contract with the Giants on Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

The Giants waiving Anderson on Monday was only due to an issue with his contract. Cutting and re-signing the linebacker was a way for the Giants to fix the wrinkle in the contract. Anderson played nine games for the Washington Football Team last season, recording nine tackles. He figures to play a depth role for the Giants if he makes the final roster.
