Barkley (ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Until he gets back in the practice field, Barkley isn't a candidate to be available to the Giants offense. Still, head coach Joe judge hasn't ruled out the possibility of Barkley playing Sunday against the Panthers, so his status bears watching as the weekend approaches. If Barley ends up being inactive again this weekend, the Giants will turn to Devontae Booker as their top back.
