The Panthers signed Eason to their practice squad Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Eason was waived by Seattle ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. He's spent time with the Seahawks and Colts since he was drafted by Indianapolis in the fourth round of the 2020 Draft. In Carolina, he'll operate as an emergency option behind Baker Mayfield, P.J. Walker and Sam Darnold (ankle).
