Armstead (knee) is close to returning to the practice field, according to head coach Doug Pederson, Demetrius Harvey of the Jacksonville Florida Times-Union reports.
Armstead has been recovering from offseason knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and has been on the active/PUP since the start of training camp. The 6-foot-7 defensive tackle's return date has not yet been confirmed, but Pederson did say the big man could return "any day."
