Middleton was promoted to Jacksonville's active roster from the practice squad Saturday.
The 27-year-old joined the practice squad in early October after being cut by the Jags, but he's now back on the active roster. Middleton has exclusively played special teams in his two appearances this season and could have a similar role Sunday against Houston.
