Agnew caught six receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets against Seattle on Sunday.
The garbage-time touchdown made Agnew useful for fantasy investors in the 31-7 loss, but six catches for 38 yards on 12 targets is dreadfully inefficient and casts a cloud over the otherwise encouraging target volume. Agnew has been busy in Jacksonville's offense since DJ Chark's season-ending injury, which led to Laviska Shenault shifting to the outside and allowed Agnew to take over in the slot. Shenault is a bad fit outside because he lacks the speed to separate on the boundary, and the funnel away from Shenault has been to the benefit of Agnew, who's seen 25 targets in his last three games, leading to him recording 17 receptions for 157 yards and one touchdown. Agnew could provide cheap PPR utility going forward if he can maintain that target volume, but if the Jaguars revisit their wideout rotation and move Shenault back into the slot, then such a move might come at the expense of Agnew. The Jaguars play Buffalo in Week 9.
