Myers made field goals of 44, 56 and 36 yards without a miss over the final two preseason games, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Myers overcame some early failures during the preseason, missing three field goals and an extra point in the first two preseason games. That led the Jaguars to bring in some competition, but Myers improved over the final two preseason games. The early problems could be related to losing long snapper Carson Tinker to a season-ending ACL injury. After adjusting to a new long snapper, Matt Overton, Myers didn't miss a kick.
