Godwin (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Eugene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union reports.
Godwin played in three games during his rookie season, mostly as a special teams player. The 24-year-old did catch three passes for 32 yards during the final game of the regular season with the Jaguars devoid of healthy pass catchers, but it's hard to imagine he can make a similar climb up the depth chart under a new coaching regime.
