Luton reverted to the Panthers' practice squad Monday.
Luton was elevated to operate as the backup quarterback behind Andy Dalton in Week 3 while regular starter Bryce Young (ankle) was unavailable. If Young can't go again in Week 4 versus the Vikings, Luton will likely be added to the active roster again.
