Tonges (undisclosed) and the Bears reached an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Tonges landed on Chicago's injured reserve after going unclaimed off waivers. The injury settlment means he will now be free to find a new opportunity once he is back to full health. Had he not reached a settlement, his 2023 campaign would have come to a premature end.
