Washington waived Jelks (undisclosed) on Tuesday with an injury designation, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
The 24-year-old has yet to play in an NFL game as he has bounced around the league after being drafted in the seventh round by the Cowboys in 2019. Unless he's scooped up off waivers by another team, Jelks will revert to Washington's injured reserve list.
