The Lions released Tufele on Tuesday.
Tufele signed with the Lions in late April after appearing in 12 regular-season games for the Jets in 2025, logging 12 tackles (five solo). He'll look to catch on with a team in need of a veteran who can serve in a rotational role on the defensive line.
