Williamson agreed Monday to a restructured 2020 contract worth $3.5 million, including $1 million guaranteed, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Williamson will have the earning potential of $5 million, but the new deal saves the Jets $3.75 million in cap space for the 2020 season. The 28-year-old is coming off a torn ACL that cost him his 2019 season, so the restructuring could be looked at as a "prove-it" deal before he enters free agency this coming offseason.
