Allen rushed seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching two of four targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.

Allen had just nine touches compared to Breece Hall's 21, but the youngest skill-position player in the NFL made the most of his limited opportunities, producing his first two touchdowns in his second game. The rookie fourth-round pick out of Wisconsin got the Jets on the board with a 12-yard touchdown catch late in the first half, then scored the game-winning touchdown on a 20-yard run with 4:31 left in the fourth quarter, breaking a 17-17 tie. Allen has the frame to run inside effectively at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, and he has also shown the hands and elusiveness necessary to contribute as a pass catcher. Hall's in no danger of losing his starting role after racking up 114 yards and a touchdown Sunday, but Allen has shown he can excel in a change-of-pace role and should earn some touches on a short week Thursday against the Patriots.
