Milliner's fifth-year contract option will not be exercised by the Jets, ESPN.com reports.

Milliner has been a huge disappointment since being drafted ninth overall in 2013, with numerous injuries derailing his career thus far. In fact, he's been sidelined for 27 of 48 games since entering the league, and has already undergone surgery on both his Achilles and wrist, which followed the five total procedures he underwent in college. While Milliner will remain with the Jets for the upcoming campaign, he's expected to serve merely as a depth option within their secondary.
