Pineiro signed with the Jets on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 26-year-old veteran will join New York's active roster just one day after Alex Kessman missed both his extra-point attempts in his NFL debut. Pineiro could see action with the Jets if Kessman's struggles continue.
