Davis (ankle) will be activated off injured reserve for Sunday's contest against the Bengals, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Davis will make his regular-season debut Sunday after suffering an ankle injury during the preseason that landed him on IR. Cimini reports that the 25-year-old linebacker will likely draw the start against the Bengals and play the majority of the snaps. Davis signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason after registering 46 tackles and two forced fumbles for the Lions during the 2020 campaign.
