Thomas signed a contract with the Jets on Monday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Thomas played under Jets head coach Robert Saleh from 2017 to 2020 during their time with the 49ers. During that span, the 2017 first-round pick totaled 95 tackles and six sacks across 48 appearances. Thomas spent last season with the Raiders, registering 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles across 17 games. He figures to be a key piece along the Jets defensive line in 2022.
