When Wilson was initially ruled out from the contest and replaced by Trevor Siemian, the Jets cited a head injury as the cause for the QB's early exit. However, it has now been confirmed that Wilson suffered a concussion, which means that he'll have to progress through the NFL's five-step protocol in order to gain clearance to play ahead of next Sunday's game against the Commanders.
