The Vikings waived Romo on Monday.
It was an uphill battle for Romo to make Minnesota's 53-man roster, as he was competing with Will Reichard, the NCAA's all-time leader in points, for the team's placekicker duties. Romo has yet to kick in an NFL game, and he'll now look elsewhere for the opportunity to do so.
