Simpson was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Simpson appeared in three games for the Raiders this season, starting two of them. The 25-year-old saw the field for the first time Thursday since Week 2, filling in for Alex Bars (knee) at left guard. If Bars is to miss extended time, the Raiders will likely rely on Dylan Parham to fill in.
