The Eagles waived/injured Wilson (knee) on Friday.
Wilson suffered a new knee injury in early August, and it appears to be too significant for the wide receiver to work through in a time frame that is reasonable for the Eagles. The 2024 sixth-rounder will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will revert to the team's injured reserve list. Wilson will then spend the entirety of the 2026 season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement. The Eagles re-signed Brandon Hayes in a corresponding move.
