Williams was waived by the Vikings on Thursday after a failed physical, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Williams had just been claimed off waivers from the Rams on Wednesday. It is not yet known why Williams failed the physical, but he had just played Sunday for the Rams against the Texans in Week 9. Williams will now try to get healthy and catch on elsewhere.
