Mims was waived by the Bills on Monday, Alec White of the team's official website reports.
Mims was competing for the No. 3 running back role with Latavius Murray behind James Cook and Damien Harris. He ultimately came up short, but the undrafted free agent will be a likely candidate to be offered a practice squad role with the team.
