The Dolphins signed Scarlett to the practice squad Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Scarlett spent the offseason with Miami, and he will get a chance to continue developing with the team as a member of the practice squad. Running backs Patrick Laird and Gerrid Doaks were also inked to the scout team.
