Adams was cut from New Orleans' practice squad Friday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Adams was signed to the practice squad by New Orleans on Nov. 10 after getting into one game on special teams with the Jets earlier in the campaign. He'll now be free to seek out another NFL organization to form ties with.
