The Steelers cut Scott on Tuesday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

Scott bounced back and forth between the Eagles' practice squad and active roster in 2023, and he played in four regular-season games before being waived in November. Scott signed a future/reserve contract with the Steelers in January, but he will now be on the lookout for a new opportunity should he clear waivers. The 2020 fourth-round pick had his most productive season in 2022 with the Eagles, when he registered 26 tackles (19 solo), eight passes defended and two interceptions across 17 regular-season games.
