McAtamney signed with the Giants' practice squad Wednesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
The kicker was waived by the Giants on Tuesday. McAtamney joined New York through the International Pathway Player Program in May but failed to unseat incumbent kicker Graham Gano.
