McAtamney was waived by the Giants on Tuesday.
McAtamney joined the Giants through the International Player Pathway Program in May. However, the undrafted free agent out of Rutgers failed to unseat incumbent kicker Graham Gano this preseason. McAtamney will now be subject to waivers and, should he go unclaimed, he'll be eligible to sign elsewhere ahead of the regular season.
