Martin (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation by Carolina on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Martin played in six games for the Panthers last season, mostly contributing on special teams. A fifth-round selection of the Packers in 2020, Martin is now a candidate to land on IR if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
