The Bears waived Eziomume (undisclosed) with an injury designation Saturday.
The nature and severity of Eziomume's injury is unclear. He would revert to the Bears' injured reserve if he isn't claimed off waivers by another team. That would force Eziomume to sit for the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with Chicago.
