The Broncos cut Whyte from their practice squad Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Whyte joined Denver's practice squad at the end of November but will now seek out another opportunity. He appeared in six games for the Steelers in 2019 and tallied 24 carries for 122 yards while securing his lone target for nine yards.
