Kicker Matt Prater said he would like to return to the Lions' roster in 2015. He converted 21 of 26 field goals in 11 games after signing with Detroit in October.

"Yeah, I definitely want to come back here and I've talked with my agent and told people in the building that I want to come back," Prater said Monday, per The Detroit News. "I feel loyalty here because they gave me an opportunity and I had a lot of fun being here."

Prater was signed to a one-year deal after being cut by the Broncos on Oct. 3.

"I had other teams interested, too, but I really wanted to come here because I saw a great team," Prater said. "Coach (Jim) Caldwell and (special teams coach John Bonamego) and everyone, I wanted to come here to work with them. They put a lot of trust in me, so I didn't want to let them down. Now, I feel like I owe them, and so I want to stay here as long as I can."
